On December 22nd, One Piece author Eiichiro Oda and the series' editors joined Twitter, promising a special New Year's movie, and then counting down to the day. Then, along with a message joking about keeping his editors happy engaging the fans on Twitter and expressing his excitement about the 20th anniversary of One Piece, Oda shared a video celebrating the new year with an unconventional take on Luffy and Shanks.
