Roppongi Hills to Host Japan's First Marvel-Centric Exhibition

The appeal of Marvel Comics is growing around the world, and Japan is feeling it, too. Doctor Strange is the most recent Marvel Cinematic Universe film to hit it big in Japan, and they're already eagerly anticipating later installments.

Now, it's been announced that fans in Japan can get closer to Marvel than ever with the upcoming Marvel: Age of Heroes exhibition at Roppongi Hills.

The exhibition, which will take place on Mori Tower's 52nd floor observatory, will contain 200 individual exhibits featuring costumes, props, and other memorabilia from the franchise. Many of the items on display will be appearing in Japan for the first time. The exhibition will be residing at Roppongi Hills from April 7 to June 25, after which it is scheduled to tour several locations nationwide.

Plans are also underway for road shows and publicity events for Japan's upcoming releases of Guardians of the Galaxy: Remix in spring and Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok in autumn.
