If you're in the mood for a little old-fashioned romance this Valentine's Day, stop by Takashimaya's Shinjuku store -- where there's currently a Rose of Versailles celebration underway with chocolate, fancy clothes, and prizes for fans.
The event, called "Amour du Chocolat," is currently running, and includes all sorts of special-edition goods and snacks for chocolate lovers and Rose of Versailles fans.
On the second floor will be displayed a recreation of Lady Oscar's ball gown as created by Bunka Fashion College. The gown, created in 2007, was originally displayed as part of the "Rose of Versailles Forever" exhibition the following year.
LINE users have the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire (linked on the website), with the first 10,000 responders receiving a voucher for a "message cookie." They can be picked up in the 11th floor Amour du Chocolat reception area.
Speaking of limited goods, there are just 7,000 of these clear files featuring the campaign art, which you can pick up on floors 4-6 with a purchas of at least 5,000 yen.
In addition, there's the Pretty! BeruBara Camera, an on-site app that lets you take a photo and put yourself into the world of the manga. Uploading a photo of yourself using of these filters with the hashtag #ベルばらカメラ on Twitter or Instagram will enter you in a raffle for a variety of unspecificed prizes. There will be 100 winners in total.
If you'd like to try out a smaller version of it on your own phone, scan this QR code:
There will also be a chocolate-tasting table and photo booth on the 11th floor, as well as gift certificates and more special prizes to be announced.
The "Amour du Chocolat" event is on now, and runs 'til February 14.
