To celebrate Japanese anime's 100th anniversary, Japan's Japan's national public broadcasting organization NHK has been holding the "Nippon Anime 100" campaign since last December has accepted online votes to determine the best anime 100 and best anime song 100. The campaign's official website today reported interim results for the best anime 100. The online votes will be accepted till May 31, then the final results will be revealed in the special program to be aired on NHK BS Premium on May 3.
Meanwhile, votes for the best anime song 100 will be accepted till February 10, then the results will be reported in the special program "Countdown live Anison Best 100!" hosted by Shoko Nakagawa and Kendo Kobayashi to be aired on NHK BS Premium on February 18.
